Jennifer began her career as a television reporter and anchor, covering major events like hurricanes and national political conventions. She earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Florida. Transitioning to public relations, she spent 12 years at AdventHealth, where she developed crisis communication strategies and coached executives.
In 2019, she founded Back Porch Communications, bringing her extensive expertise to support health care and nonprofit leaders. Jennifer also co-owns the Boss Lady Women’s Leadership Community, advocating for women in leadership roles. She holds a master’s degree in Strategic Communication from the University of Missouri and an APR certification. Residing in New Smyrna Beach, FL, Jennifer balances her professional endeavors with her family life, including her husband Will and their two children.
